Fashion and travel are two of Jennifer’s lifelong passions. From an early age Jennifer loved highly stylised looks. At age two she wore her first leather skirt; it was bright red. At the age of 10 she learned the art of accessorising. As a 20-something living in New York City she scoured posh department stores, small boutiques, local flea markets, and Century 21 (the mecca for marked-down designer goods) on a daily basis for precious finds. In her 30s, she moved to London, which allowed her to travel the world, from England to Japan, and inspired her to experiment with looks for a life on-the-move; hence the birth of Style On The Lamb (named after the pun “on the lam”).
Her travel stories are one-third nostalgia, one-third inspiration, and one-third information. Each story aims to delight its readers with a few mocking musings, thoughtful photographs, as well as, tried-and-tested recommendations for hotels, restaurants, bars, and things to do; in addition to what she wore WHERE. With a penchant for picking pieces that suit her mood, lifestyle, and location, she takes her styling very seriously, spending the time to curate the perfect suitcase.
Now online, Jennifer writes articles covering relevant lifestyle topics from fashion trends to wellness issues. With a curious mind, she probes the question WHY, delivering features that look at timely issues, ask pertinent questions, and offer objective story telling combined with her personal insight. She looks at the meat of the lamb, not just its fluffy coat, making Style On The Lamb a destination that continues to inform and amuse, as well as, get REAL.
