Lisbon is a city that can only be described as yellow, from the bright sun beaming down on to the cobble stone streets to the vibrantly painted buildings lining the squares. Golden old-world trollies, now painted with graffiti, climb the city’s steep hills, through narrow passageways, all the way to an 11th century stone castle.
Even the food and drinks are shades of marigold. Sangria pitchers are filled with ripe lemons and mint leaves. Rock lobsters are served fresh with generously buttered bread.
